2024 USA Basketball Showcase to Feature USA Men’s National Team Games at London’s O2 Arena
U.S. to Play Exhibition Games Prior to Paris 2024 Olympics

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (Dec. 12, 2023) – USA Basketball announced that the USA Basketball Men’s National Team will play a pair of games in London as part of the 2024 USA Basketball Showcase and in preparation for the 2024 Olympic Summer Games. The USA Basketball Showcase features a series of games that help the USA Basketball national teams prepare for major competitions, including the FIBA World Cup and Olympic Summer Games.
Hosted in partnership between USA Basketball and TEG, the U.S. will face South Sudan on July 20 and reigning FIBA World Cup champion Germany on July 22 at London’s O2 Arena. The trip will mark the U.S. men’s first visit to London since winning the gold medal at the 2012 Olympics.
Tickets for both contests, which will tip off at 8 p.m. local/3 p.m. ET, will go on sale at 1 p.m. GMT/8 a.m. ET on Friday, Dec. 15 at www.usab.com/tickets.
The USA Basketball Showcase will be televised live in the United States by FOX Sports, with both games airing on FOX.

To start Olympic preparation, the USA men will hold training camp in Las Vegas, its longtime training hub. More information, including training camp details, additional stops on the USA Basketball Showcase and team rosters, will be announced at a later date.
The USA officially qualified for the 2024 Olympics as one of the top two nations from the FIBA Americas zone at the 2023 FIBA World Cup in September. The American men will compete for their fifth straight – and 17th overall – Olympic gold medal.
In total, USA Basketball will be represented by four teams at the 2024 Olympic Summer Games, including 5-on-5 men and women and 3×3 men and women. The USA are reigning Olympic champions in 5-on-5 men and women and 3×3 women. The 3×3 men are set to make their Olympic debut next summer. More information about all four USA Basketball teams will be announced at a later date.
