TEG is committed to making a positive contribution to the communities in which we operate through the way we do business and the power of live.

CONTRIBUTION

Fire Fight Australia

In 2020 TEG responded to the worst Australian bushfire season in living memory by staging the historic FIRE FIGHT AUSTRALIA concert which raised A$11.1 million and lifted a nation’s spirits. FIRE FIGHT featured 10 hours of world-class entertainment, 23 acts, 75,000 fans at ANZ Stadium in Sydney’s Olympic Park, and a global TV audience of millions. The funds were split between key organisations providing vital Rescue, Relief & Recovery, Rehabilitation and Rebuilding.

LEADERSHIP

Live Entertainment Industry Forum & COVID-Safe venues

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, TEG founded the Live Entertainment Industry Forum with our industry partners with a mission to bring back fans and jobs.

TEG teamed up with the New South Wales Government to present Australia’s first COVID-Safe indoor arena concerts, and led the industry in putting the first arena and stadium tours back on sale.

ENVIRONMENT

Paperless Ticketing &
Plastic Elimination

TEG is committed to minimising its carbon footprint and has led the world in moving to paperless ticketing. Over 90% of tickets sold through our Ticketek platform are now digital.

FIRE FIGHT was the first stadium concert in Australia to offer 100% paperless ticketing to fans who bought tickets online.

TEG eliminated hundreds of thousands of single use plastic cups from landfill during FIRE FIGHT with the help of reusable cups provider WISE – It’s In Your Hands.

COMMUNITY

Side of Stage

TEG in partnership with the charity Canteen supports “Side of Stage” an Australian initiative conceived by ARIA-winning hip hop artists The Hilltop Hoods to give young people affected by cancer special access to live music shows. ‘Side of Stage’ is open to young people aged 12-25 whose lives are currently being turned upside down by cancer, whether it is their own or a close family member’s diagnosis or the death of a loved one.
