A NEW 18 HOLE MINI-GOLF COURSE IS READY TO TAKE OVER THE TORRENS WHEN IT COMES TO ADELAIDE FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS SEPTEMBER
ADELAIDE, 31 AUGUST 2021 — Australia’s much loved mini-golf sensation, Pixar Putt, arrives in Adelaide for the first time this Spring from Friday 24 September to Sunday 17 October at Riverbank Promenade, Adelaide Convention Centre. Tickets go on sale Tuesday 31 August at 10:00am (local time) via www.pixarputt.com.au
This open air, pop-up mini-golf experience is made up of interactive holes inspired by the stories, characters and icons from some of Pixar’s most beloved films including Toy Story, Onward, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Soul, Monsters, Inc., A Bug’s Life, Wall-E, Inside Out and more.
The experience is perfect for players of all ages and is sure to become a popular destination during this limited 3-week Adelaide season. And when the sun goes down, Pixar Putt After-Dark sessions will be available for adults 18+ from Thursday to Saturday nights from 7:00pm-10:00pm, where patrons can also enjoy a drink from ‘Home Ground’ at Adelaide Convention Centre as they play the course.
“Pixar Putt has had over 190,000 mini golfers putting to infinity and beyond around Australia since the event launched in 2019 and we are thrilled to be opening in Adelaide at last this September,” says Tim McGregor, Managing Director TEG Live. “We can’t wait to introduce Adelaide to these uniquely designed holes, and to introduce our latest hole based on Disney-Pixar’s recent movie release, Luca. With 18 holes spread across nearly 1000 sqm at Riverbank Promenade, there is plenty of space for patrons to stay safe, have fun and kick some serious Putt!”
Complying with Pixar Putt’s COVID Safe protocols, booking online and in advance is recommended for patrons to secure a preferred tee-off time. Course capacity is limited, so door sales will be possible, but subject only to session availability.
Pixar Putt patrons will also be able to take advantage of Ticketek’s world-leading partnership with Afterpay. Available via the Ticketek app or website, Afterpay is the world’s largest buy-now-pay-later service, offering fans greater flexibility to pay for tickets in four equal instalments and secure their tee-off with the first payment.
The safety of patrons and staff is TEG Life Like Touring and The Walt Disney Company’s top priority and Pixar Putt will operate with a commitment to a COVID Safe environment under a full COVID Safe Plan. Pixar Putt’s COVID Safe measures include capped player numbers on the course at all times; physical distancing measures in queues and on course; sanitiser stations located onsite; plus, sanitising of all golfing equipment between users for every session each day
A location easily accessible to city parking, trams and trains, Pixar Putt at Riverbank Promenade, Adelaide Convention Centre, will be Adelaide’s must-do attraction these school holidays.
