Sydney, Australia – Tuesday 10 September, 2024 – South by Southwest Sydney® (SXSW Sydney) is thrilled to reveal the lineup for its Podcast Stage presented by iHeart, taking place over five days from October 14–18 at ICC Sydney. Newly announced live podcasts include Australian gold medallist Noémie Fox joining But Are You Happy? with Clare Stephens, She’s on the Money with Victoria Devine, and workplace expert Amy Gallo joining Culture First with Damon Klotz.
Also bringing their hit shows to SXSW Sydney for the first time are Happy Hour with Lucy & Nikki, Unf*cking the Future with scientist Chris Turney, Black Magic Woman with Mundanara Bayles, Straight Talk with Mark Bouris, The Antoinettes with Antoinette Lattouf and Azure Antoinette, The Last Video Store with Alexei Toliopoulos, Welcome to the Future! with Charles Firth & Dom Knight, Weirder Together with Ben Lee & Ione Skye, and Three Food Memories with Savva Savas. Plus, back for their second year by demand are Better Than Yesterday with Osher Günsberg, This Working Life with Lisa Leong with global futurist Ryan Patel and psychologist Dr Greta Bradman, and The Non-Obvious Show with Rohit Bhargava, with more to be announced.
A standout for attendees at SXSW Sydney 2023, this year’s Podcast Stage will double in capacity and welcome some of the most exciting local and international titles for once-off exclusive conversations and plenty of surprises. iHeart joins as the presenting partner of the SXSW Sydney Podcast Stage in 2024, bringing a raft of their best-loved titles for SXSW Sydney attendees to enjoy live, including The Buck Up with Kate Langbroek & Nath Valvo, Backstage with Cooper & Matty Johns, She’s on the Money and brand new show Wiggle Talk – A Podcast For Parents.
Badgeholders and members of the public can also check out ARN House on Tumbalong Park from October 14–18 as part of SXSW Sydney’s free Public Program for an interactive audio experience, inviting people to share their expertise via a bespoke crafted podcast series collaboration between iHeart and SXSW Sydney. There will also be an education series on Audio and Why ARN from Tuesday–Friday, a chance to win a trip to the 2025 iHeart Music Festival in Vegas, and a chance to meet some of the stars from the Network.
