TEG Rewards celebrates 10 years at forefront of online market research

TEG Rewards is celebrating its 10th anniversary at the forefront of Australia’s online research and direct marketing industry.

Established in 2007, now with a wealth of operational experience and market insights, TEG Rewards successfully rebranded its membership program as Purkle in 2016 with the tagline “Earn rewards for telling it like it is”.

In the past decade, 2.4 million people have taken part in consumer panels that form the backbone of the TEG Rewards research and insights effort. In return for their participation, the members have shared rewards worth over $10 million.

There have been thousands of campaigns and hundreds of clients in the life of the business, driven by a staggering 316 million emails to harvest insights on a vast array of products and services.

This year TEG Rewards entered a ground-breaking technology partnership with Wakoopa, the world’s leading Passive Metering company. The partnership delivers powerful new behavioural data and insights capability to Australian brands and agencies.

TEG CEO Geoff Jones said he was proud and delighted that TEG Rewards has enjoyed sustained growth over a decade.

“Every start up needs a compelling idea backed up by sheer hard work and dedication,” said Jones. “TEG Rewards has come so far in 10 years because we knew the idea was sound and we never stopped pushing.

“While the numbers are impressive, what truly makes TEG Rewards a great business is the culture that puts Purkle members first, values our clients and is always willing to go the extra mile for the right result.”

Alan Logan, Network Program Manager at ARN, home to Australia’s leading radio networks KIIS FM, The Pure Gold Network and iHeartRadio, is a long-standing TEG Rewards client.

“Our relationship has helped ARN become one of the leading radio networks in the country,” said Logan. “The team is great to deal with and very responsive to our needs.

“TEG Rewards to us is customised research made easy. The insights provided have enabled ARN to create a strategy that is the bedrock of our business. Well done on the 10 year milestone.”

The TEG Rewards team has an amazing family atmosphere. Lisa Salas was one of the first to join the start-up and is now General Manager. Head of Client Services Diana Marini and Technology Manager Hari Ailanani have been with TEG Rewards since day one.

Lisa Salas said the journey with TEG Rewards has been like riding a wave.

“The 10 years have flown by because this business is so dynamic and always changing,” said Salas.

“Digital disruption has had a huge impact on society and has changed the way we gather research and insights.

“Throughout the time I know that TEG Rewards has built lasting relationships and has a well-earned reputation. We love what we do and we care for people. I look forward to another decade of achievement.”
